Bookmaster has been a premier bookseller in the Scottsdale area since 1990 and changed to new owners in October of 2005 when Brenda Munday Gifford and her Son Erin Barragan purchased the two locations.

Mother and son continued the great tradition of providing quality used books in a quiet and friendly atmosphere.

They previously owned hero comics and gaming serving the west valley of Phoenix for over 15 years and have now joined the two types of business for a unique selection for all areas of interest and ages of book lovers.

Since then Bookmaster & Hero Comics have expanded with a new larger west side location, as well as a location in the Anthem community.

The new Hero Comics locations feature a huge selection of comics, collector comics, trade hardbacks, anime and manga. In addition they have an expanded card gaming area and one of the largest selections of yu-gi-oh game cards in the country.

Between all four locations they can search to find the right book for you or order any book if it is still available in print.
